These V6 and V8 diesels power the majority of Sport and Vogue models on UK roads, and we know their weak points intimately. Crankshaft bearing wear on the 3.0 TDV6, oil pump failure on 2010–2016 SDV8 units, and timing chain tensioner wear are faults we correct permanently during every rebuild — not just patch until the warranty runs out.

The 2.0 Ingenium family sits in the Evoque, Velar, and later Sport models, in both petrol and diesel form. Early diesels suffered timing chain stretch and oil dilution; we address both with updated components and revised service baselines. Every reconditioned Ingenium leaves us with new chains, guides, tensioners, and a documented cold-start and load test before despatch.

The 5.0 AJ133 supercharged V8 in the Sport SVR and Autobiography is a specialist's engine, and we treat it that way. Machining, balancing, and supercharger inspection all happen in our own workshop, so nothing is outsourced or unverified. We also rebuild the earlier 4.2 supercharged units, restoring full output while resolving known liner and gasket vulnerabilities.
