5.0 SUPERCHARGED SPECIALISTSTensioner wear is the AJ133's headline fault. Hydraulic tensioners lose their grip with age, chains run slack, and the brief metallic clatter on cold start grows into permanent top-end noise. Because the V8 is an interference design, prolonged neglect risks pistons striking valves.
Carbon build-up is the quieter thief. As a direct-injection engine, the 5.0 gradually coats its inlet valves in baked deposits that no fuel additive can touch.
The result is dulled response and rising consumption, fully reversed by walnut blasting during any rebuild or major service.
General garages replace parts; we engineer outcomes. Rotating assemblies are balanced, bores are plateau-honed for ring seal, and every supercharger passes leak and bearing checks before refitting.
Vogue engines are assembled for turbine-smooth idle; SVR builds are validated under load on the dyno, with printouts included in your documentation pack.
