The all-alloy Rover V8 gives the Discovery 1 its glorious soundtrack, but age brings slipped liners, porous blocks and head gasket failure. Rather than patching symptoms, we machine blocks for top-hat liners — the definitive permanent cure — and rebuild each V8 with new camshaft, followers and uprated head gaskets throughout.
Originality matters to classic owners, so we preserve and restore your numbers-matching block wherever possible. Where a block is beyond saving, we source sound replacement castings and transfer your original ancillaries.
